I started Steward & Brighten to give small business owners what I kept seeing them go without: books they can trust and numbers they can actually use.
My background is in banking and credit union operations, where reconciling accounts to the penny was the job every day. I've since run full-cycle books for small businesses in QuickBooks Online, including cleanup projects on books that had been neglected for months.

We work in QuickBooks Online or Xero. If you're already on one of them, you stay on it. Your business keeps its own subscription, so your books always stay yours.
Yes, that's what the cleanup service is for. Start with a $350 diagnostic review and you'll get a fixed price to catch everything up. The $350 is credited toward the cleanup if you go ahead.
No. Service starts with a 90-day initial term, then goes month-to-month. You can cancel with 30 days' notice.
We keep your books closed and accurate all year and hand your CPA or tax preparer a tax-ready package at year-end. We also handle Texas sales tax filing as an add-on.
